It is FREEZING in Khayelitsha. The suffering is profound.
Animals are dying while others are being born in hail storms.
This is what SA.MAST is doing about it…
WE ARE BUILDING KENNELS AT OUR CLINIC!
We took delivery of our first truck load of wood towards the end of May and spent the next three weeks taking the second hand pallets apart and cutting them to size.
In the second week of June we started to build and build and build… while sterilising, sterilising, sterilising….
To date, we have distributed over 80 kennels, most of which were accompanied by SA.MAST's specially made waterproofed cushions. Over the next two weeks we will distribute another 50. But then we may have to stop.
It costs SA.MAST R100 to build a kennel that will remain a sheltered, warm and dry refuge for our beautiful, but desperate four legged friends.
We don't have the funds.
We are appealing for your support.
SA.MAST will be taking delivery of a battered but usable 12m shipping container.
We want to use this container as a permanent workshop and employ paroled prisoners from Pollsmoor Prison to build the kennels.

Will you help?
Your support will positively contribute towards crime prevention, rehabilitation, skills development and job creation.
No donation amount is too small!
And of course, one less precious creature will die a cold and miserable death.
